A top tier read. This book got me started on the classics, and I've never looked back.As book endings go, this is one of the greatest I've ever read
Difficult to put down. Fascinating saga of a family, with references to the Bible. The characters' lives are used to look at the strengths and weaknesses of people in general.
Oh my God, it has to be the most gloomy novel I've ever read. The writing was lovely. The book is really sad. It was a good read, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that I loved it.
How the war affected Afghan women's daily lives. A fantastic story, once again from a talented author.
This story is both universally relatable and culturally informative.
This was my first novel by Cormac McCarthy, and it was riveting yet bleak. That I was left with questions and thoughts after reading the last page. Strongly recommend
Outstanding work by one of my favorite writers. I'm happy I read it, and I look forward to Khaled Hosseini's next work.

You should be prepared for some serious downtime with this book. Don't let it put you off, but make sure you're in a decent frame of mind before diving in.
