Who Would Like This Book:

If you thrive on snarky banter, slow-burn tension, and secret vulnerabilities behind tough exteriors, this one's for you! "Games of Command" blends space-opera adventure with a swoonworthy enemies-to-lovers romance between a sassy female captain and a brooding, rule-bound cyborg admiral. You'll get multiple perspectives, lovable (and telepathic!) space pets, and just enough wild Star Trek-ish hijinks to keep you entertained. Perfect for romance fans dipping a toe into sci-fi - or vice versa!

Who May Not Like This Book:

If you're not into the 'romance in space' vibe or prefer your science fiction super serious and hard-hitting, you might find the tone a bit light or even silly at times. The story juggles a lot of characters and subplots, which could be distracting if you like a tight, focused narrative. Some readers wished for deeper world-building or supporting characters, and found the cats (er, furzels) either adorable or a little too prominent. The ending also felt abrupt to some, with a 'made for TV movie' flavor rather than epic conclusion.

A fun, heart-tugging space adventure that’s as much about love and trust as it is about battling aliens and old grudges. Come for the cyborg pining, stay for the banter - and don’t be surprised if you want a furzel of your own!

As usual, this book was excellent. The cats were kind of a weird addition, but whatever.
