Carolyn Clarke I’ve read a lot of books and this one was one of the best. It’s a well-written story about love and loss. The intense humor and simplicity of it was what grabbed and kept my attention. And you will fall in love with Ove, a simple, grumpy, miserable man who doesn’t like modern technology nor his neighbors. On the brink of ending it all to be with his wife, he slowly (in his own way) shows us who he really is and what he becomes by the end of it. It was a very satisfying read.
