I do love me a strong fmc, and this for sure had that. But I feel like we spent too much time in the bedroom. Would have loved to see more of the actual plot, seeing as this was the last book.
Might have been higher rated if I read this as a standalone? Idk. I just felt we never kind of got a real conclusion.
I would also have loved to just see more of the couple interacting with the outside world. Idk. Maybe just because I found the dynamic sort of refreshing in these mafia books.
My favorite of all mafia romance series. The end included HEA for the entire series, and tied things up well. Banter was top notch. Jt geissenger writes excellent banter for those enemy to lovers types.
