Who Would Like This Book:

If you crave dark, tension-filled mafia romance with forbidden love, Sinners Anonymous delivers in spades. The chemistry between the leads, Rory and Angelo, is off-the-charts and the slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers dynamic keeps you glued to every page. The plot offers a juicy mix of family scheming, secrets, and a heroine with quirky bird-themed swearing that'll either make you giggle or snort in disbelief. Perfect for fans of Cora Reilly, Danielle Lori, and anyone who loves a splash of danger with their romance.

Who May Not Like This Book:

If you're not into dark romance, mafia stories, or slow-burn tension, this probably won't hit the mark for you. Sensitive readers should note the author includes trigger warnings for good reason - there’s violence, obsession, and emotional intensity that isn’t for everyone. Some reviewers also struggled with the frequent bird puns, grammatical errors, and wished for more action or a quicker moving plot. If these are turn-offs, you may want to skip or sample first.

Juicy, steamy, and addictive - Sinners Anonymous is a must for mafia romance fans, but be sure to check the trigger warnings and prepare for a slow burn with plenty of dark twists.

From The Publisher:

My fiancé's nephew knows every sin I've ever committed. He's about to become the deepest and darkest of them all.

My name is Rory Carter and I do bad things.

There's a charred soul under this angelic exterior and sometimes, I wonder if my weekly confessions to the Sinners Anonymous hotline will be enough to heal it.

Marrying the seventy-something head of the Cosa Nostra to save my father is the only good deed I've ever done.

I'm burning and bitter under the fake smile and tight dresses, but I was keeping it together.

Was.

Until my fiancé's nephew turns up to dinner uninvited.

Angelo 'Vicious' Visconti.

A beautiful monster with cheekbones as sharp as his tongue.

They say I shouldn't be scared of him, because nine years ago, he went straight.

He's barely a Made Man anymore.

But I say, he's the most dangerous Visconti of all.

It's not just because his cold sneer makes my pulse flutter.

Or the way his syrupy drawl trickles down my spine.

No. He holds all of my sins in his big, rough hands.

And the only sins darker than mine are his own.

SOMME'S NOTES:

Sinners Anonymous is a deliciously dark, enemies to lovers mafia romance. It can be read as a standalone but believe me, you'll want to devour it with the rest of the trilogy!

You should know that I write dark romance, and my stories-including this one- aren't for the faint of heart. They contain several triggers and are somewhat disturbing, so aren't suitable for everyone.

You won't find Prince Charming or a damsel in distress within these pages, so if that's what floats your boat, I kindly encourage you to move along!

I would classify this one as a slowburn. There was plot, there was some smut.

I found it okay, perhaps a bit slow. Loved the mmc, the fmc eehh. Bit of a let down what her greatest "sin" was. Solid read.

Great worldbuilding though, so I am definitely picking up the next one.
