Oookay, the first like 50% I was close to DNF. The MMC was really awful. Not only to the fmc but in general. Not big on playboys and all that. I am so glad I didn’t. Phoenix really had one hell of a redemption arc. The side characters really grew too. Made everything just so much better in the end.

I finished this book in record time. I was a little scared with the amount of pages, but it didn’t feel like a long read at all! Phoenix walker’s mysterious character isn’t a mystery when you’re able to read his perspective to all the events. It gives plenty of compassion and understanding. If you have ever felt self-conscious about your size, this book is for you.
