V for Vendetta was an amazing look at the torturous results that oppression can cause when a evil regime uses a brutal system against the masses to control society and crush the spirit of those who live within the state. The book faced harsh realities in todays world and the hero element or the liberators movement if you prefer was a joy to follow as they fought to break free from the grip of the tyrants. The characters were brilliant and the right level of psychological structure was given to the characters. A joy to read.
