Ugh no. The premise sounded entertaining enough but there so many faults in this book that makes it impossible to enjoy. The characters a terrible, the plot unnecessary and not in any shape and form sexy. Won't continue with the series which is a shame because I really wanted an alien series to read and binge
Rating between 3½-4 ★
Mia works for A.I.R, Alien Investigation and Removal, and she's their fiercest hunter. She knows she different, just not why. She took the job after one of her brothers was killed by aliens.
During an investigation where humans are turning up dead, she meets Kyrin, an Arcadian and is drawn to him, even though it's her job to hunt and kill him.
I wasn't sure how I'd like this book, never been big on books about aliens, but I am glad I gave in and read it. Gena Showalter is a very good writer and it seems I always end up enjoying her books, no matter the series.
The only downfall, IMHO, is the whole book is in the first person, Mia's POV. It would've been nice to hear Kyrin's side or even one/more of her partners'.
