From The Publisher:
In New York Times bestselling author Karen Marie Moning's stunning novel, the walls between human and Fae worlds have come crashing down. And as Mac fights for survival on Dublin's battle-scarred streets, she will embark on the darkest adventure of her life.
MacKayla Lane lies naked on the cold stone floor of a church, at the mercy of the Fae master she once swore to kill. Far from home, unable to control her sexual hungers, MacKayla is now fully under the Lord Master's spell.
He has stolen her past, but MacKayla will never allow her sister's murderer to take her future. Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac's every thought-and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.
As the enigmatic Jericho Barrons and the sensual Fae prince V'lane vie for her body and soul, as cryptic entries from her sister's diary mysteriously appear and the power of the Dark Book weaves its annihilating path through the city, Mac's greatest enemy delivers a final challenge.
It's an invitation Mac cannot refuse, one that sends her racing home to Georgia, where an even darker threat awaits. With her parents missing and the lives of her loved ones under siege, Mac is about to come face-to-face with a soul-shattering truth-about herself and her sister, about Jericho Barrons . . . and about the world she thought she knew.

Re-Read Review
First Read (Hardcover): 15 Mar 2010
Re-Read (Audiobook): 4 Feb 2011
Initial Review (3/2010):
Crap, crap, CRAP! :::foot stompin' temper tantrum::: I should'a waited until closer to the 12/2010 release of [b:Shadowfever|7304203|Shadowfever (Fever, #5)|Karen Marie Moning|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1439940228l/7304203._SY75_.jpg|6967072] before reading this book. Man, I knew better. The ending was a "hold up, WhAt?!" moment and now ... tick-tock. Ugh. I'm so impatient, but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series.
Re-Read Review (2/2011):
Re-read (listened to audiobook) in prep for [b:Shadowfever|7304203|Shadowfever (Fever, #5)|Karen Marie Moning|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1439940228l/7304203._SY75_.jpg|6967072] and WOW! I am
so glad I decided to re-read this one. So many things I'd forgotten and/or forgotten the intensity of it after waiting so long (not as long as many of you) for the next and final release in this unique series.
I had to buy the audiobook for
Shadowfever! I enjoy listening to them so much, Mac's passion and Barrons' sarcasm come through the audio version in a larger than life way that just isn't the same as reading the book.
I'm anxious to find out how things in Barrons' and Mac's world turn out. What is Barrons? Did her call to IYD work? Is
that who we think it is? So many questions and I hold the book with the answers ... almost hard to fathom. :) The cliffhangers in this series have been hellish and now that it's almost over, I know I will miss the characters we've come to love reading. Moning has taken us all on such a wild and fantastical journey, I'll be sad to see it come to an end.
