16 year old summer is kidnapped and locked in a cellar by Clover with other girls, Rose, Poppy and Violet, his flowers, his family. In the meantime there is big search for summer and you follow Lewis her boyfriend sometimes. Mostly we follow Summer's point of view and sometime Clover/Colin.

Yeah I get that the book has its issues and somethings are not adding up. But I was so hooked on this book and this was definitely what I needed today on my way to get my wisdom tooth removed and after to keep my mind of the pain. It was just so exciting, creepy and just right amount of scary for me and for my enjoyment alone I give it 5 stars.

The concept of the book was great! I read The Butterfly Garden, and thought this book would be similar. I feel the characters were not developed enough, and all of the perspectives were written in the same writing style, seeming they were all the same person. I was really confused how up until the moment she was saved, Summer was dying to see her family and boyfriend. I do understand Stockholm Syndrome, but Summer didn't seem to have it. It's possible, i suppose, the knock to her head did her in. I enjoyed the book, but wish there was more info and better writing styles. I also purchased two other books by this author, hopefully they will be 5/5!
