Enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. Sure, the story is a little strange (or strange compared to what I normally read), but I liked the intensity. And the book didn't end after they discovered their love for each other.
There was nothing I didn't like about this book. Ellie was a bit naive but well-meaning. She did everything in her power to protect herself and those she loved. Fury is filled with rage after a lifetime of abuse, so he is unable to see Ellie as anything other than the enemy. However, their attraction is undeniable. In the end, they do have a happy ending in spite of a lot of interference and misunderstandings. Definitely a hot read, and one that left me wanting more. More of the characters and more of this world. Amazing start to a series!
