Lewis Carroll is the pseudonym of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898). He wrote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for the amusement of 11-year-old Alice Liddell and her two sisters, who were the daughters of the dean of Christ Church College, Oxford, where Dodgson taught mathematics….

'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,has passed the test of time and remains a fascinating and enjoyable read. It is a stimulating read for adults and children alike.
Christin Daoud Truth be told, I never read the full book, but I am quite familiar with the overall plot. There are just so many iconic characters, from the Mad Hatter to Cheshire Cat all the way to the Red Queen. I love the trope of a main character living in an ordinary world who gets sucked into an alternate magical world and has to find a way to adjust to life there.
