Who Would Like This Book:

If you love epic fantasy with intricate storylines, a good vs. evil setup, and a vast cast of memorable characters, Malice is for you! Fans of Tolkien, Eddings, and GRRM will find familiar (but well-executed) tropes combined with heart-pounding battles, complex politics, and meaningful character growth. The multiple points of view provide depth and variety, making this perfect for readers who like to see the world through different eyes and lose themselves in immersive worldbuilding. Animal lovers, especially, will enjoy the special bonds some characters develop along the way!

Who May Not Like This Book:

Readers who prefer a focused narrative or get overwhelmed by large casts may struggle with Malice. The story is a slow burn at first and introduces a lot of names and moving pieces, which can feel daunting or meandering. Some find the writing style a bit utilitarian and not as polished as fantasy's heavyweights. If you dislike frequent POV shifts, battles, or are looking for innovation rather than classic tropes, this one might not be your cup of tea.

An epic, character-driven fantasy that starts slow but builds to a thrilling crescendo - perfect for anyone craving traditional fantasy adventure with a modern bite. Expect to be hooked by the end!

I gotta DNF this one. I just dont care about anything that's happening. I can see why people would love this, but this was just not for me... at all. I think I got about 90% of the way through and I was going to finish it, but I can't bring myself to read anymore. Safe to say, I wont be continuing on with the series.
