From The Publisher:
In this novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling Dresden Files, Chicago's only professional wizard takes on a case for a vampire and becomes the prime suspect in a series of ghastly murders.
Harry Dresden has had worse assignments than going undercover on the set of an adult film. Like fleeing a burning building full of enraged demon-monkeys, for instance. Or going toe-to-leaf with a walking plant monster. Still, there's something more troubling than usual about his newest case. The film's producer believes he's the target of a sinister curse-but it's the women around him who are dying, in increasingly spectacular ways.
Harry's doubly frustrated because he only got involved with this bizarre mystery as a favor to Thomas-his flirtatious, self-absorbed vampire acquaintance of dubious integrity. Thomas has a personal stake in the case Harry can't quite figure out, until his investigation leads him straight to the vampire's oversexed, bite-happy family. Now, Harry's about to discover that Thomas' family tree has been hiding a shocking secret: a revelation that will change Harry's life forever.

Lo que parece que va a ser historia de relleno al principio, va mejorando por momentos.
Además, aparece el perro, lo que da más puntos a cualquier cosa.
This one was such a change to previous books in the Dresden files, I'm excited for this series to continue! I need to figure out how the side stories fit into the mix and how I can read them lol.
Mouse and Mister are the best companions to a Wizard <3
The amount of love that Harry is getting from his found family makes me scared... I don't know enough about Jim Butcher to know if he's willing to kill off people I love... TBF He didn't kill off Susan. So I have hope...
I haven't read a book about Dresden for some time. I had a feeling that the last one wasn't as good as the earlier ones. Although, I decided to come back to this series and it was definitely a good decision.
Blood Rites has this unique atmosphere we know form the first two books.
This time Harry is involved in more than one dangerous plot, he is investigating in a case of death case in porno business, he gets involve with the White Court and fights with Black Court. We also get to know something more about Harry's mother past and that informations are really surprising and make the story even more interesting. And it occurs that Ebenezer also has some secretes and not the good ones.
I can not wait to see how the situation between Thomas and Harry evolves. And I wish to see Ebenezer in the next book clearing some air between him and Harry.
The story is fast and grabbing, there were times I couldn't stop reading. Harry is at his best. I will definitely read the next book somewhere soon.
What can you read after
Blood Rites?
