Who Would Like This Book:

This fast-paced, twisty finale is a must for fans of dark YA thrillers and anyone who loves a good serial killer mystery with a strong psychological edge. Barry Lyga expertly keeps the tension sky-high while wrapping up the intricate storylines and delivering complex character arcs, especially Jazz's journey as he struggles with his own darkness. The diverse, well-written cast shines - Connie and Howie are standouts, breaking stereotypes and adding depth. If you enjoy shows like Dexter or Criminal Minds, or just crave an unputdownable, emotionally charged series conclusion, this book is for you.

Who May Not Like This Book:

Sensitive readers, beware: this isn't for the faint of heart. There's violence, gore, disturbing psychological themes, and discussions of trauma (including mentions of abuse). Some found certain plot twists predictable or a bit over-the-top, and the Crow King storyline stretched believability. If you haven't read the first two books, you'll feel lost - there's little recapping. Also, if cliffhangers or emotionally tough stories aren't your thing, this may not be your cup of tea.

Blood of My Blood is a dark, gripping, and deeply satisfying end to an unforgettable trilogy - perfect for mature teens (and adults) who love intense thrillers with rich characters and lots of heart.

Did I see the plot twist coming over a book ago? Yes.

Was the reveal of that plot twist still jaw-droppingly awesome? Also yes.
