I loved the love/hate relationship between the two lead characters. It had a really good, intense atmosphere to it. The mystery was also well done.
The book is a really good example of an Upstairs Downstairs/Downton Abbey style of book. A great period drama but with a mysterious twist. Loved the servants and aristocracy divide. A really good read.
I've loved this story since I was a teenager and discovered period dramas. I love Elizabeth's witty character and the slow growing romance between her and Darcy. The BBC tv drama with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle was my favourite.
